Budget. more than $4 trillion, it is the biggest budget ever submitted by any country ever in the history of earth, of man kind. over the next ten years, it maps out spending of sitting down? of course you are $55 trillion. you know what it s supposedly cut something nothing. nothing at all. like i said, cutting is when you take a figure and reduce that to a lesser figure. no, this budget shaves the increase in spending over the ten-year period by about 3.5 trillion. 3.6 trillion to be exact versus 55 trillion in total spending. so 3.5%. a rounding error. an increase in spending overall, 3.6 trillion less in spending. we didn t look at things that way, did we? do we? no. we call a budget a more than $4 trillion heartless even though ten years ago, that same budget was 2.8 trillion. the programs i mentioned have been growing at a 10% clip year ....
