Wagoner 6-Year-Old Uses Lemonade Stand Money To Buy School Supplies For Others A six-year-old Wagoner County girl is giving us all a lesson on what it means to help others. Hadley Mae Roberson has spent the past several days donating backpacks full of school supplies to school districts in her community. “Thank you. I really appreciate it. The kids are gonna be really happy,” Porter Elementary School Principal Chris Sherwood told the first grader as she hauled in the backpacks. Hadley Mae raised the money to buy all the school supplies and backpacks through a lemonade stand that she set up outside the Cross H Tack and Trailer store in Wagoner. Her goal was to raise $500 to buy school supplies for 20 children. She said she came up with an idea while praying. ....
