Farfan and Mendes for joint venture with Canadian company December 18, 2020 Effective January 1st, 2021 Farfan and Mendes Ltd and Mines Services Limited (MSL) will enter a joint venture partnership with Canadian company, Crosbie Group Limited. Farfan and Mendes in a notice to its customers said that it and MSL will be consolidating their operations under the name 2020 FMCG Inc. This entity, it said, will be a joint venture corporation which has two shareholders: Farfan and Mendes Limited and Crosbie Group Limited. The notice stated that Crosbie Group is a fourth-generation family-owned business located in St John’s Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. It had partnered with MSL in February 2018 to form a new company, Panthera Solutions Inc which it says was recognised as the first Guyanese company to conduct business offshore in Guyana. Crosbie’s website says it “has a proven history of serving offshore oil & gas, marine construction, commercial construction ....
