Thomson, the consumer electronics company owned by Technicolor SA, is planning to enter the laptop market in India within the next two quarters. The company is also considering exporting smart TVs and other products manufactured in India to foreign markets. Thomson is satisfied with the quality of manufacturing by its brand licensee in India, Super Plastronics Pvt Ltd, and is aiming to be among the top five global markets.
