New Delhi: Pointing out the plights of foreign medical graduates (FMGs), especially delay in achieving their academic goals, the Foreign Medical Students Wing of the All India Medical Students .
The norms require students to have completed a minimum duration of 54 months, an internship of a minimum of 12 months in the same foreign medical institution and mandatory registration as medical.
The students, who have returned from countries such as China, Ukraine, etc, were unable to attend physical lectures owing to restrictions related to the Covid-19 pandemic and the Russia-Ukraine war.
