Were hearing reports that some people are still trapped in their homes as waters rise. Governor John Bell edwards urged residents to stay where they are. All of this, as were hearing that levees across the state are strained. Some have been overtopped. Many have withstood the rising waters around New Orleans. Unfortunately most of New Orleans is without power. On the ground there, nadia, tell us how those levees are holding. Reporter The Street to my right is the french quarter.
