THE brave people of Worcester helped to stop a despicable attack after a Romanian gangster ran over an innocent man in broad daylight.
Marius-anton Roman mounted the pavement in his Mercedes in Vincent Road, Worcester, and struck his former friend, Madalin Oanta, shattering his leg. His thugs then rained down punches and kicks on the helpless victim.
The 33-year-old now faces deportation to Romania along with the other two attackers, Ionut Tudor and Cristi Stefanescu. Roman was jailed for 10 and a half years for inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent at Worcester Crown Court on Thursday following the attack on August 2 last year. ....
