CRISFIELD Candidates for governor came to the Eastern Shore Wednesday to crack crabs and talk about their vision for the state’s economic future. Republican Del. Dan Cox and Democrat Wes Moore made the election-year pilgrimage to Somerset County and the J. Millard Tawes Crab and Clam Bake with roughly six weeks left until Election . ....
This comes after Marylanders learned last May the signature event in Somerset County would be postponed to October 2020 due to coronavirus concerns. Then that date was also canceled as the health crisis continued. Now, organizers are seemingly confident the vaccine rollout and re-openings will allow for a more traditional event in Crisfield by the fall. More information is expected as the event draws closer.
