Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) CEO Jim Ryan says that the acquisition of Nixxes will help with bringing PlayStation IP to PC. In an interview with Famitsu, Ryan stated (as translated by VGC) that PlayStation is .happy to be in the early stages of bringing our IP to the PC, and look forward to working with Nixxes to help us do that.
Nixxes Software is a Dutch studio that s been responsible for the PC ports of numerous Square Enix titles, such as Marvel s Avengers and Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Sony acquired Nixxes in July, integrating the team into the Technology, Creative & Services Group at Sony Worldwide Studios, meaning Nixxes will act in a support capacity helping the other teams and working on PC ports. ....
