PLRAC receives two grants from the BC Arts Council

ROLLA, B.C. – The Peace-Liard Regional Arts Council has been awarded two grants from the B.C. Government as a way to kick off Creative Industries Week.
The PLRAC has received $6,565 from Co-Op Placements and $5,000 from Community Arts Festivals.
More than 70 community arts festivals are getting support from the Province to hold safe, entertaining activities this year. The B.C. Arts Council is providing a total of $1.19 million through three grant streams, Community Arts Festivals, Visual Artists, and Co-Op Placements.

“We know how much people look forward to the amazing cultural celebrations and music festivals that normally take place during the upcoming peak season.
