It’s been a rough 12 months for Australia. But you know what? We’re doing pretty good compared to what’s happening around the world. The challenge for young creatives is to lift the spirits of the Australian population and remind us all that this place we call home is still a great place to be. And they have a single blank page to do it. Think big and blue sky. There is no limit on channel or type of execution. All you need to know is that your idea must get Australians feeling good about living where we do. ....

The MADC competition winners will be announced in June. The mentees, who are between the ages of 21 and 35 are from all parts of the globe and have been selected from various advertising clubs and associations, trade press competitions, companies that support LIA, as well as self-nominated candidates. ....

These virtual coaching sessions are designed to develop, educate and inspire young creative talent. One of the most valuable components of these coaching sessions is that they allow the participants to establish personal connections through direct interaction with the most-experienced and most-awarded creative professionals in the business. Coaching is unlocking a person’s potential, helping them to learn rather than teaching them. It is to see in a person the talent they cannot see in themselves, and nurture it. ....
