But it was Chuck E. Cheese, of all places, that had the foresight and steely clarity to see not just what the new era required, but what it permitted. With much of America suddenly interacting with restaurants through delivery apps, the food industry had been transformed into e-commerce, and the arcade better known for its ball pits than its food was free to invent a new identity: “Pasqually’s Pizza & Wings.” 

Consolidated Concepts debuts 3 virtual brands

Hashtag Wings offers four flavors: Buffalo, Garlic Herb Parmesan, Sweet Thai Chili and Chipotle Barbecue. Provided Feb. 3, 2021 Dallas-based Consolidated Restaurant Operations, which owns 63 restaurants in the United States and United Arab Emirates, has opened three virtual kitchens inside their Dallas-Fort Worth restaurants. Focusing on wings, burgers and healthy bowls, respectively, they are called Hashtag Wings, Craftsman Burgers and Craftsman Bowls. All are now open for business in North Texas, according to a company press release. Hashtag Wings offers four chicken wing flavors: Buffalo, Garlic Herb Parmesan, Sweet Thai Chili and Chipotle Barbecue. Wings come in batches of five for $8 and 12 for $18. Blue cheese and ranch dipping sauces are available for an additional 60 cents. The sole side dish is hash browns, which cost $3.
