Mercury Expands VesselView Functionality

Mercury Marine announced it is broadening access to VesselView functionality with the launch of SmartCraft Connect, which provides information about SmartCraft-compatible engines through Garmin and Raymarine multifunction displays.
Mercury
said in a statement that the system reports such performance data as engine rpm, fuel flow, oil temperature, trim and more. SmartCraft Connect can simultaneously monitor up to four engines.
“The VesselView system, which is now available to Garmin and Raymarine users via SmartCraft Connect, keeps track of everything and provides alerts if any engine measurements stray away from the norm,” said SmartCraft product category director Rob Hackbarth in the statement.
