With just 51% of Connecticut children vaccinated, Connecticut public health officials are pushing to get more children vaccinated and boosted with the recently approved bivalent booster.
A senior White House official revealed that approximately 300,000 kids under the age of 5 in the United States had received at least one shot of the COVID vaccine since the CDC recommended it last month.
One month after the federal government authorized the COVID-19 vaccine for children under 5, about 300,000 U.S. kids in that age group have received at least one dose of the vaccine, a Biden administration official said.
Though the federal government recently authorized the COVID-19 vaccine for children under 5, Publix supermarkets will not offer the vaccine to children in that age group.
