Amidst the surge of positive patients and shortage of beds, there were many complaints made around the city where patients were denied admission. One such patient was Sudhir Jadav, a resident of Prabhat Chowk, who died at Civil Hospital on Friday morning. “His RT-PCR report was negative. But he had developed extreme breathlessness on Thursday night. We called EMRI 108 at 9 pm to hospitalize him and were told to wait. My daughter took him to AMC-run hospital in a private vehicle but they declined to admit any patient who was not brought by 108 ambulances,” said ....
