A new study published in the New England Journal of Medicine suggests that being infected with SARS-CoV-2 - the virus that causes COVID-19 - profoundly impacts brain health in many ways.
According to ICMR, the cases were healthy individuals aged 18-45 years without any known co-morbidity, who suddenly (<24 hour of hospitalization or seen apparently healthy 24 hours before death) died of unexplained causes between October 1, 2021 and March 31, 2023.
