Vietnam recorded nearly 23,000 new coronavirus infections on April 12, but the number of patients recovering from the virus was nine times higher than the number of new cases.
The number of new COVID-19 cases continued to drop with 50,730 cases recorded in the past 24 hours from 4pm April 2 to 4pm April 3, including 3 imported cases, down 14,886 from the previous day, according to the Ministry of Health.
The Ministry of Health (MoH) announced 85,765 new coronavirus infections in Vietnam on March 30, while COVID-19 related deaths fell to 41 during the day.
