The Suburbanite Letter to the Editor: Congratulations and thank you to Coventry Schools’ Superintendent Lisa Blough for spearheading the district’s success in finally being released from fiscal emergency and fiscal watch. Mrs. Blough worked diligently during her tenure as superintendent with courage and insight. She made the necessary changes and adjustments to move the district through difficult steps in order to accomplish the elimination of fiscal oversight that was years old. It was not an easy road nor a simple thing to do. Kudos also to the board for having the foresight and brilliance to hire Mrs. Blough as the new treasurer effective Aug. 1. She will surely continue to demonstrate the same responsible and dedicated management skills in her new position that she brought to the district as the superintendent.
