good evening, i m allen martin. now at 11:00, shark attack. tonight adviser is bitten a diver is bitten off the california coast. that attack happened at still water cove near pebble beach inen monterey county. kpix 5 was there tonight. reporter: there are warning signs about the shark all over the area. i appears it was a great white that bit him from the bite marks. the safety people came and said you have to get out. reporter: the shark bit the victim severing his leg. two off duty officers fishing at the time heard what happened and helped him until rescuers arrived. there was a lot of blood. reporter: chris was also in the water at the time and saw the victim s shredded wet suit. it didn t look good. bad trauma to the leg. a lot of blood in the boat. reporter: the area is still water cove beach near the popular pebble beach. it s known for scuba diving. the victim was spearhead fishing at the time of the bite. the sheriff believes they spotted the g
