OPW has selected preferred site for new Co Wexford Coastguard station

It was revealed at the Senate recently that the OPW has completed the appraisal process on all sites identified for the new Courtown Coastguard station and a preferred site has been selected. Senator Malcolm Byrne was in the Seanad recently to discuss any progress made on the new Courtown Coastguard station. He was told that as part of this process, the Office of Public Works had conducted feasibility studies on the potential sites to ensure each site met the requirements of a Coastguard station and that there are no impediment to the proposed development. ....
