Utah s Office of the Medical Examiner has identified the remains found near Duck Creek in Kane County as those of Courtney Lynne Townsend, who was last seen six months ago.

On May 27, Kane County Sheriff's Office received a tip from an individual who was riding their ATV in the Duck Creek Ridge area about some clothing they had located on the side of the road. Authorities responded and the investigation indicated the presence of human remains with and in the area around the clothing.
