You were an academic first. You were the first nominee to the Court Without prior judicial experience since adjust is 50 years earlier. How does your academic background shape your perspective on the court and do you think it gives you a different perspective than your colleagues . The court eventually had many people who have served a great deal of their career in academia. There were all judges and i was not, but Justice Barrett is essentially an academic and we are the only two on the court now i think, i hope im not forgetting anybody.
