A SPECIAL county jersey has been presented to the staff of Greenpark Nursing Home as part of an initiative aimed at acknowledging the work of healthcare workers during the pandemic.
The framed jersey and message were presented by Merit Medical Galway who were the main sponsors of a country-wide initiative ‘Your County, your Colours’ led by former inter-county player and Galway Bay fm GAA commentator Tommy Devane.
Over the past number of months all 32 county GAA boards supplied a county jersey accompanied by a short message of thanks. The jerseys and message were framed and sent to the hospital or care setting of the county’s choice. The chosen location for the Galway jersey was University Hospital Galway. ....
