The Memorandum of Understand with Lavaca County for the COVID-19 Sub-Hub Vaccination Program was approved at the Mar. 8 Colorado County Commissioners Court.
Colorado County Office of Emergency Management Coordinator Charles “Chuck” Rogers said to date approximately 4.3 percent of the county’s population has been vaccinated.

- A proclamation was issued for Autism Awareness month in Colorado County for April. Turtle Wing Foundation Becka Edminson was in court to hear and accept the proclamation for Autism Awareness Month.

Colorado County EMS was notified Monday evening that 200 doses of vaccine will be delivered for distribution this week. “Our Sub-Hub Plan has not yet been approved by the state and this allocation came as a surprise. We confirmed that it is separate from and not connected to our Sub Hub Plan submitted for state approval on January 24, 2021,” a statement from county officials stated.
