mat along the beach access corridor at the northern parking lot of
Clam Beach County Park, and the mat is now open for public use.

Many people would independently enjoy basic daily pleasures, such as visiting with friends or performing the necessities for living that include medical appointments and grocery shopping, if it were not for the structural barriers that hinder them.
While the construction of new sidewalks and curb cuts presents a temporary nuisance to the flow of automobile and pedestrian traffic, the increased accessibility makes a long-term difference in the lives of persons with mobility disabilities and all of us who know them. Good job, Del Norte County.
