A final victim from June s deadly tubing accident in North Carolina has been recovered from the Dan River and identified.
The body of Teresa Villano, 35, was located near the Draper Boat Landing around 4 p.m. by Rockingham County Emergency Services personnel and Swift Water Rescue Teams, the Rockingham County Sheriff s Office said in a release.
Teresa is the fifth person to be confirmed dead after the incident, which took place back on June 18 when a group of nine people who were all related took a set of connected inflatable tubes out to float down the river a popular pastime in the county, according to officials.

EDEN, NC. (AP) Three people are dead and two remain missing after a group floating down a North Carolina river on inflatable tubes went over a dam, authorities said Thursday.
Rockingham County Emergency Services Director Rodney Cates told reporters that a group of nine people tubing on the Dan River went over the Duke Energy dam in Eden around sunset on Wednesday. A Duke Energy employee who saw some of the tubers called the situation in to 911 Thursday afternoon, Cates said.
