us tonight. i have run into the words real estate, and now it s time for lawrence o donnell, with ali velshi in for lawrence o donnell. this conversation you were having about the national guard in oklahoma. a year ago we were 13 months away from having a vaccine. it was some time from when i qualified to get one. i remember the day i qualified, i had like nine websites open, and i m trying to get an appointment. i remember thinking to myself, wow, there is this free vaccine that could save my life from a deadly virus. it did not occur to me a year ago that we could be having discussions you had, that people are still hesitant about a vaccine that is still killing people. and the governor of oklahoma is giving wrong advice to people if they don t get it and what he is discouraging them from getting. when you think of all the heroism from national guard members who have stepped up to distribute the vaccine, to do so much on covid, for them to be roadkill for this governor.
congress proceedings against this man. former trump doj official. jeffrey clark. he refuses to answer questioning about the attempts to use the doj to push the big lie. a senate judiciary report, clark was instrumental in that effort. a contempt referral would make him the second person after steve bannon to potentially face criminal charges for defying congressional investigators. one member of the house leadership says the committee has no choice but to move against witnesses. who themselves refuse to cooperate. you have to use every tool we can to get to the truth. there has to be a consequence. to the failure to follow the law. the committee has yet to announce action against former trump chief of staff. for that matter. mark meadows who failed to comply. however one of the two republicans serving on the panel predicts he may not have to wait long to find out where the members stand. i expect there is going to be movement particularly on mark meadows that we ll know
