Medieval King s Lynn feminist Margery Kempe gets a Portuguese tribute | Updated: 14:31, 02 February 2021 Margery Kempe, who was born in King s Lynn (known back then as Bishop s Lynn) circa 1373, has a new statue that has been unveiled in the Portuguese province of Góis. The sculpture was donated by the Portuguese municipality of Góis and is located in the roundabout of A Foca.
