On Saturday, crews will break ground on a bicycle and pedestrian bridge spanning U.S. 75 just north of Royal Lane in North Dallas to connect Northaven Trail to trails east of the highway, including White Rock Creek and Cottonwood Creek. The half-mile expansion of the Northaven Trail, which the Texas Department of Transportation is building with a $9.3 million price tag, is expected to open by spring 2023.
