HiddenLight Productions, a production company founded by former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Chelsea Clinton, and Sam Branson, has secured the television rights to author Gayle Tzemach Lemmon’s unreleased book,
The Daughters of Kobani: A Story of Rebellion, Courage, and Justice.
The news of the acquisition comes after a bidding war with other productions. A network is not yet attached to the project, but we know the story will be transformed into a TV series. Penguin Press will release
The Daughters of Kobani: A Story of Rebellion, Courage, and Justice on February 16.
Congratulations to my dear friend, @gaylelemmon! Can’t wait to see ‘The Daughters of Kobani’ adapted for TV. https://t.co/XiLBKUMm3r Nazanin Boniadi (@NazaninBoniadi) January 25, 2021
