The BelTA head stressed that the President Hotel hosted the Meeting of the Heads of Security Bodies and Intelligence Services of the CIS member states the day before. “It is very symbolic that yesterday's meeting here highlighted the issues of protection of state security of the CIS countries."
The current meeting is a great opportunity to take stock of interaction processes, discuss topical issues of cooperation, exchange experience, establish partnership and friendly ties with colleagues, CIS Secretary General Sergei Lebedev said in his welcome address.
"Our cooperation and the ability to exchange experiences are, undoubtedly, important in order to preserve and reinforce the authority and leading positions in the media fields of our countries, in the common CIS information space and on the global scale," Andrey Kondrashov said
