Jail. 30 inmates were let out of their cells this afternoon, a fight breaks out, then spreads. Some 20 Correctional Officers responded with pepper spray and pinning athem to the floor. At 3 10 this afternoon cameras installed yesterday caught images of just 20 inmates. Hispanics fighting with blacks in the only pod where cameras were operating. It looked like one inmate brushed up against another and then the fight was on with fists. You can see a lot of fist fighting going on in the video. Thats where we installed the cameras. We dont have cameras in any of the other housing areas and they only went in last night. Its interesting it happened here.
