The prisoner attempted to take her weapon, there was a struggle over the gun, and at some point the weapon discharged firing a shot into the wall. Last year there was 15,000 assaults on officers. 7,000 happened when officers were transporting prisoners. It is unknown if officers considered the prisoner dangerous.
