Win big at the oscars . Hello, im anna foster, live injerusalem. Lets look at the latest situation around gaza. You are seeing a moment ago images of a fresh airdrop of aid happening over gaza this morning. We know the us military along with the Jordanian Air force have been carrying out regular airdrops of aid with their parachutes and the pellets are heading down to the people below who so desperately need them. if ukraine is going to attract the investment, it s going to need the investment it s going to need notjust from governments, notjust from internationalfinancial institutions, but from the private sector. the private sector, it has to build the best possible environment to attract that investment. well some of that extra funding could come from the european union. the european commission president, ursula von der leyen, has asked eu member states to provide 55 billion dollars to support ukraine over the next four years. she said that this reserve would allow brussels to calibrate its financial support depending on the situation on the ground. let s bring in amanda and peter. in many ways, this is a positive sign, looking at life after the war. , but perhaps some of it seems premature? i think it is a rather well timed. as you say, it looks beyond the immediate offensive towards the huge task of reconstructing ukraine, hopefully when some kind of peace is reached. i think, hop

The field is located 80 miles west of shetland, and is thought to contain 500 Million Barrels of oil, which makes it the uks largest untapped oil field. But the plan has faced widespread criticism. Last month 50 mps and peers from all major parties raised concerns the oil field could produce 200m tonnes of carbon dioxide. Craig macmahon is Senior Vice President for research at the Energy Consultancy wood mackenzie. I asked him what this means for the uk as an oil producer. The scale of rosebank in a uk perspective is not insignificant. On a global perspective, its much, much smaller. So at peak production levels, maybe in about 2027, 2028, we would expect production between maybe 60,000 and 70,000 barrels per day. If you put that into perspective, i mean, currently oil demand sits at 101 Million Barrels per day on the global scale. So that is to say that rosebank will ultimately contribute significantly less than 0. 1 of supply. From the uk perspective, though, its slightly different.
