MARTINSBURG, W.Va. (AP) All different ages and different personalities, the six Salesky children gathered around Faith Christian Academy fourth-grade teacher Fran Stoddard, a rush of memories hitting each sibling, some fresher than others.
The family presented her with a shirt that said, “I survived the Salesky family FCA 2009-2021.”
“She always said she wouldn’t retire until she got her Salesky shirt,” mom Cheri Salesky laughed, adding Stoddard will retire after this year.
An 11-year difference from the oldest, Sasha, to the youngest, Jenavie, with Landon, Ellarie, Corrine and Makaylah in between, the Saleskys have had three teachers in common for all six siblings, Stoddard being the most recent. All six siblings also had pre-K teacher Ramona Tiegs and kindergarten teacher Amy Keppley. ....
