A new study by the Downtown Milwaukee Business Improvement District shows just about 20 percent of Milwaukee areaâs office staff is back to in-person work, while the rest remain virtual at home. Business experts say thatâs expected to change drastically starting next month.
Downtown Milwaukee has been incredibly quiet for the past 14 months, but a new survey of Milwaukeeâs largest employers found that the number of in-person workers is expected to increase 200 percent by the end of the year.
