Hairdressers, beauty salons, visitor attractions and outdoor sport can resume in Northern Ireland from next Friday. The Stormont Executive s agreed a further easing of lockdown restrictions will take place a week later on the 30th of April - when all non-essential retail and gyms can re-open. Indoor hospitality is set to restart from the 24th of May. Statement in full - From April 23: Driving testing can resume; Re-opening of outdoor visitor attractions including outdoor activity centres; Resumption of Equine Assisted Therapy and Learning (EATL) on an indoor and outdoor basis in gatherings of up to 30 people; Outdoor sport organised by a club, individual or individuals affiliated will be extended to include squad training; ....

Unlicensed and licensed premises such as restaurants, beer gardens, and cafes, can open outdoors on April 30. Non-essential retail will reopen on the same date, as will gyms. Indoor hospitality venues, including pubs and hotels, are then set to reopen on May 24. The Executive has today agreed a package of relaxations to the current Coronavirus Health Regulations. While the majority of the current restrictions will remain in place until after Easter, the Executive agreed to gradual changes which will come into effect before the next formal review date on or before April 15. In relation to schools, the Executive agreed that all Primary 4 to Primary 7 pupils will return to school from Monday, 22 March.
It was also agreed that Year 8-11 pupils will return to the classroom after the Easter holiday on 12 April, subject to a review of the public health situation at the end of March. The return to face to face teaching limits the scope for further relaxations but, as a result of the efforts by the majority across society in following the public health advice and slowing the spread of the virus, Ministers agreed on the following package of easements in outdoor settings. ....
