Streets, lights and timers are provided near Senior Centers. I live near two Senior Centers with no timers. You just sort of just talk across the street. And something bad can happen there, because a senior on their wheelchair could take more time than the average pedestrian. I want to continue the pensions and benefits that seniors receive, given by california and the city and county of San Francisco. And i want to make sure that everyday activities, seniors going to buy groceries at the market, or going to the park, i want to make sure theyre accessible. It didnt escape me i am the only one that was not a legislature at one time or current legislator. I had a career in the department and i chose to vote. What can you do . You can bring Voter Registration forms with you wherever you go. How many people have a Registration Form in their purse or pocket . Dont assume that your family members and friends are registered. Make sure they are registered. Talk to them about becoming registered and give them a form. Candidates, put a Voter Registration ling on your website. Make sure people can link to Voter Regis ....

We see these incredible results for San Francisco and oakland. For fulltime teachers for math and technology. A surge of kids who are enrolled in stem and Computer Science. More young women and more students of color. Higher attendance rates. Higher math scores. Higher grades. You guys all have to get higher grades now, isnt that good news . Thats what were expecting you to be in school more and have higher grades because of this. This year were going to give another 17. 2 million to San Francisco and oakland Public Schools. Incredible. Safety and stability of seniors as a top priority for any supervisor in San Francisco. Moderator thank you very much. Ms. Brown. Yes. I mean, seniors are the Fastest Growing population in this city. So we really have to really look at what we need to do. We also, besides housing and on the housing bond, the 600 million housing bond that i actually worked on, there will be money for senior housing. We need appropriate housing. I talked to many seniors every day. And one of the things they say is like, look, i have rent control. But i have you know, 50 stairs up to get to my apartment. And i have a hard time managing that. So we have to build the right kind of senior housing, so people can actually have elevators with Senior Services on site. This is something that were doing with prop a. But also we have to look at trans ....

The reason im bringing Public Comment for, i have been hearins item in this action. Ive been hearing for members that their physician are asking them for certain annual fees. Ive heard it anywhere from about 200 1,500 per year that the physicians are asking. We are not sure if it is what they call for concierge service. These are from u. H. C. Members, not kaiser. Basically none of the retirees have discussed this issue, mentioned it, brought it forward, or responded to my questions, want to be identified. They are real people. Im not making this up. The question is, are physicians allowed to do that . Make a request of their members and say, if you want to stay on my patient list, ....
