The festival kicks off at 5 p.m. Friday night at Fairgrounds Park, 700 S. Railroad Ave., with vendors, corn shucking and Craig Campbell's performance at 8 p.m.; the festival will close Friday night at 10 p.m. The Corn Roast Parade will start off the events Saturday at 9:30 a.m., coming north up Railroad Avenue, then east on Sixth Street and then south down Cleveland Avenue to Fairgrounds Park. The festival will then open at 11 a.m. until 7 p.m.
