Starlin Skinner Shafer, age 88, husband of Mildred Evans Shafer of Douglasville, Georgia and formerly of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at his residence in Douglasville, Georgia. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, January 19 in the Laurel Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ronnie Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Corn Creek Cemetery in Woodbine. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until noon. Laurel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
