In a statement, Tony Andres, chair of the Marikina-based Philippine Footwear Federation Inc. (PFFI); and Corazon Espiritu, chairperson of the Marikina bags and leather goods, expressed gratitude to Teodoro and to the city council for helping rebuild the city's shoe industry which was badly affected by the pandemic.
