Lot but not enough. i think what he s done in trying to get jobs there and trying to get the stimulus package down to the community, trying to address health care is great. but he heard the complaints in january and he s responding now. i think we really do need something like an urban marshal plan. we need a war on poverty directed at those communities that are suffering the most. and even though unemployment is sort of reducing generally, the fact that it s a disease in the black community means that more has to be done. but it s not just the president, it s congress. they need to put bills on his desk that he will sign. and so we ve got to figure out where is the president s role as the executive. he s not creating legislation, he s signing it. so my point is that the president has to do more, but congress has to give him what he needs. a democratic congress has to give him a serious jobs program to supplement what he s already doing with his executive orders and other things. so ....
