TRUSSVILLE A popular smoothie chain will soon open up shop in the heart of Trussville.
Planet Smoothie will be in Trussville’s future Entertainment District. The location will be next to Cookie Dough Magic, at 101 Beech Street. A sign has been placed on the window of the space.
Planet Smoothie offers what they call “The best tasting smoothie on the planet.” There is a wide variety of flavors on the menu and specialty smoothies. You can choose a drink made for protein, such as the Big Bang, or for energy, such as the Road Runner. Add-ons are also available.
The first Planet Smoothie location was opened in Atlanta in 1995. There are now over 100 stores nationwide.
