There’s a new pool of potential employees for Horry County businesses — the residents of Oak Tree Farm in Conway. They range in age from their early 20s to mid 50s. Many are skilled, with years of experience in the workforce. Each has some degree of cognitive disability.
It’s already beginning to look a lot like Christmas, as Conway, South Carolina, homes and businesses dress up for the holidays. Conway will make it official on Thursday, Nov. 30, when the city’s Christmas tree is lit in a half-hour ceremony and Santa makes his 2023 Conway debut.
