First of all, i wrote this particular Book Building the Golden Gate Bridge a workers oral history, and to give you some a struggle background about the bridge, and finally to read some selected passages from the book. I may labor historian who ventured into oral history in the 1980s. When i was working on a project for the International Longshore and Warehouse Union on the west coast. Famous union. Forterviewed some veterans the labor archives. At San Francisco state university.
