소리듣기맹꽁이(소리)맹꽁이과의 양서류. 몸길이 약 40mm이다. 몸통은 뚜렷이 팽대되고 머리 부분이 짧아 몸 전체가 둥글다. 쟁기발개구리 라고도 한다. 몸길이 약 4.5㎝이다. 몸통은 팽대되어 있고 머리 부분은 짧아 몸 전체는 둥글다. 등면에 작은 융기가 산재하고, 황색 바탕에 청색을 띤다. 머리 부분에 검은색의 대리석 무늬가 있으며, 가슴과 몸통 뒤끝에 이르는 부분에 검은색 얼룩 무늬가 있다. 등면에 있는 작은 융기 주위는 검은색으로 둘러싸여 있다. 몸통의 배면을 이루는 바탕색은 황색이고, 양 옆에 연한 검은색을 띤 대리석 모양의 얼룩 무늬가 있다.
주둥이는 짧고 작으며 앞끝이 약간 둔하면서 뾰족하게 돌출되어 있다. 울음주머니는 아래턱 앞쪽 끝에 1개가 있으며, 아래·위턱에 이가 없다. 혀는 타원형�
