Former CJI Ranjan Gogoi Gets Z+ VIP Security Cover Across India The former Chief Justice of India (CJI) Rajan Gogoi now Rajya Sabha MP was earlier being provided with a security cover of the Delhi Police. | 22 Jan 2021 1:02 PM GMT NEW DELHI: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led Centre has accorded Z+ VIP security cover to former Chief Justice of India (CJI) Ranjan Gogoi. Further, the former chief justice of India and currently Rajya Sabha MP will be protected by armed commandos of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) during his travel all across India. The CRPF has a VIP security unit and Gogoi is its 63rd protectee, sources said. ....
