ISLAMABAD: Two policemen were injured during an encounter with gunmen in G-11/1, Dawn has learnt. Senior Superintendent of Police (Operations) Dr Mustafa Tanveer said one of the gunmen was also injured but he managed to escape, while the other two were arrested. The condition of the injured policemen is stable and they are out of danger, he added. Earlier, the suspects had conducted a raid at a house in G-11/1 and held the residents up at gunpoint, Dr Tanveer said, adding that they had detained the family in a portion of the house.
