In an address made in Italian and translated to English by Vice General Superior of the Consolata Missionaries Fr James Lengarin, at the Consolata Seminary, Nairobi, on October 16. The General Superior said he had inquired from the Pope on the progress of their founder’s journey towards sainthood.
“As we thank God for his doing in this seminary, and even as we thank him after 50 years, we can say the mission is far from being accomplished and it needs more support. It needs more prayers and it needs more of your sons and daughters. It needs more of their prayer,” urged Bishop Kihara.
KENYA: Consolata Seminary Marks Golden Jubilee

NAIROBI, FEBRUARY 23, 2021 (CISA)-The Consolata Missionaries in Kenya have launched Golden Jubilee celebrations to mark 50 years since the establishment of the Consolata Seminary in Lang’ata.
The Mass was celebrated February 20 by Fr Peter Makau, the Regional Superior of Consolata Missionaries Kenya/Uganda who noted that over the 50 years of existence, the seminary has formed thousands of prominent people in and outside religious life.
“We are gathered here to thank the Lord for the many blessings that he continues showering to each and every one of us especially today, thanking him for the beginning of this Golden Jubilee of Consolata Seminary,” he said.
