Lara Hipp, chief marketingofficer for the Mississippi Development Authority, confirmed the video is actually a 2015 advertisement produced by Visit Mississippi that was downloaded from YouTube.
Hipp said the state did not know Portable.TV had posted and shared the video. The Mississippi Development Authority was not responsible for the post either, Hipp said.
